Selected Photo Work

As a photographer, I enjoy capturing human expression and dynamic, candid moments. Our emotions are designed to be fleeting and ever-changing, making freezing that moment in time special. So even after the moment has past, we can still relive it, share it, or try to understand how it felt to be there.

My cameras tell my stories

Aside from my more “professional” photography, I love playing with different cameras to capture the different aspects of my life. Ultimately, photos and videos are for me to look back at my life journey, and remember what I have been through and the world I experienced.

vlogging

 — canon g7x

I started vlogging in 2016 with this camera to create yearly recaps of my 20s. It has taken some tumbles in the process (peep at dent in the left corner) but it has captured some of my most joyful memories!

family Antique

 — Canon ae-1

I recently found this gem in the back of a closet in my family home. Turns out, my grandpa gifted this camera to my mom for her high school graduation. I'm in the process of testing out my first roll of film so I hope it still works!

instant fun

 — Fujifilm instax sq6

I love love love that they brought back square polaroids from the dead. Such a nostalgic medium that gives me instant gratification by creating one of a kind, photo prints for all my special occasions.

newest addition

 — olympus mju I

The newest camera to the family! I'm looking forward to taking some low-pressure, fun photos like on disposable cameras, but a bit more sustainable and better quality.

The newest addition to the family. This is the camera I want to just slip into my pocket, ready to capture candid moments on film.
